Eesti Taimekasvatus is part of the Skovest Network and focuses on establishing and maintaining a new generation of forest. For 5 years, our whole team has been working to make the forest growing process simple and convenient, and to make reforestation a basic, planned step after felling.
The work is supported by our own forest nursery, which currently has the capacity to grow 4.2 million young trees a year.
However, we believe that despite all the hard work of the forestry sector, the new generation of forest is not developing fast enough, and by joining forces we could move towards a green future much faster. That is why we created the project “Seedlings for Estonian Soil” (Istik Eesti Mulda).

The mission of Eesti Taimekasvatus is to make reforestation a basic, planned step after felling that is never skipped because of financial obstacles or a lack of knowledge.
The vision of Eesti Taimekasvatus is to use the project to bring together different sectors of the Estonian market: sharing the load and thereby guaranteeing that every felled forest area is regenerated.
Through the project, any Estonian company can involve its customers in supporting planting projects. It is very simple: each service or product is linked to a unit offered by us, which includes a home-grown spruce, birch or pine plant and its planting.
This is where we come in, taking responsibility for the entire planting process and organising all the necessary work: choosing the right tree species and soil, preparing the ground, producing the plants and finally planting them.
The forestry sector is the third link: after the trees are planted comes the most important step – maintaining them. Reputable forestry companies have joined the project and take on a 5-year obligation to maintain the trees planted within it. This guarantees that the planted trees really grow into a proper forest.
The environment and its protection should be close to all our hearts, and the benefits of planting forests are guaranteed to outweigh the drawbacks.
We can talk about big green transitions in government, global climate goals, the carbon market and time-consuming innovative solutions, but when there is such a simple step that everyone can take, it would be a real shame not to take it amid everything that is going on.
Let's cover our homeland with green gold!
Our team is responsible for the entire planting process. We have been planting forests in Estonia for more than 5 years!
The trees are planted in the forests of our partners, who are obliged to maintain them for 5 years. Only reputable forestry companies have been chosen as partners, and we have signed rock-solid contracts with them. As a project participant, you will receive a report for each planting showing where the young forest was established – everyone is always welcome to take a walk in the forest!
All project participants receive a report with photos. You can use the material both for your own purposes and in your company's marketing.
High-quality planting of all plants is ensured by our forester Tom Zuravljov, who has provided impartial quality control of our work for years.

We are the largest privately owned forest nursery in Estonia and grow home-grown spruce, birch and pine trees. All plants undergo extensive quality control and hold state certificates.
