EestiEesti Metsameistri Taimekasvatus OÜ is a subsidiary of Eesti Metsameister OÜ and a member of the Skovest Network. Our plant nursery is located in the village of Suure-Rakke, Elva municipality. We specialise in plant cultivation and related services. The nursery is managed by Kristjan Laas, a specialist in his field, who is assisted by growers with more than ten years of experience. Our main goal is to provide forest owners with a convenient and high-quality service and to become the largest private plant grower in Estonia.
We offer high-quality spruce and birch seedlings, planting, soil scarification and forest maintenance services. We will draw up a precise regeneration plan according to the specifics of your property and carry out all the necessary work.
All your questions will be answered by our specialists, who will help you choose the right number of plants according to the forest site type, find a solution for reforestation subsidies and advise you on what to monitor after planting.

The LEADER programme supports Eesti Metsameistri Taimekasvatus OÜ in purchasing two Easyart polytunnels and an Egedal Transplanter planting machine, and in building the base for the polytunnels.
Funds from measure 4.1 of the Estonian Rural Development Plan 2014–2020 support Eesti Metsameistri Taimekasvatus OÜ in acquiring sprinkler and irrigation equipment, a greenhouse climate control system, a pest monitoring and warning system, an electric generator, a fertiliser dosing unit, and cassettes and frames for growing forest tree seedlings.
Measure 4.1 of the Rural Development Plan 2014–2020 also supports the purchase and installation of a seed sowing line (with a growing-substrate bale breaker) and an irrigation and plant protection boom, as well as building a fence around the forest nursery and a greenhouse for growing forest tree seedlings.
The aim of the investment is to expand production capacity by growing potted plants in addition to bare-root plants, which will also improve the company's performance.
